Vacuum Cleaner Price

What's the Best Price on a Vacuum Cleaner?

Asking what the best price is on any product without understanding what you really want is a worthless question.  Let me give you an example.  You can get a battery operated handheld dirt Devil type vacuum, used at the thrift store for about 10 bucks or you can get an antique vac is costing hundreds of dollars, or even a state-of-the-art robotic vacuum for thousands of dollars.

By now you should understand what any honest review or rating system on the Web should explain.  That is, the best price for any product is based upon what you want that product to do.  The top 10 vacuum cleaners are based on the features and functionality like Hepa type filtration cyclone or bagless design vacuum cleaners, and other features judged important to the person doing the review.

If you're looking for the cheapest vacuum cleaner you can find, Hoover, Eureka and others can be bought at local big-box retailers at under $100 dollars.  I've even seen one vacuum, priced at $60 dollars.

If you're a single person without a lot of for care needs in your place doesn't get extremely dirty, electric brooms can double as a cheap vacuum.  This is actually a great option for seniors living alone.

If you want high quality appliance like a TriStar vacuum cleaner and are willing to accept used, the pawn shops in many cities normally have a couple of these units.  High quality Bosch vacuums, Filter Queen and Rainbow vacuum cleaners have all been found at a local pawn shop.

An honest vacuum cleaner comparison would reveal that those USED Filter Queens and Rainbow Vacuums were a much better product that many of the brand new vacuums being sold at those big box retailers.

If the bagless cyclonic vacuum cleaner is what you desire, all major brands including Bissell make vacuum cleaners  with this technology.  One of the most popular vacuum cleaner types, Dyson cyclonic vacuum cleaner is much more difficult to locate.  The upper end Dyson vacuums can be found on eBay and other online auction sites.

If you want a good price on a decent vacuum you may want to consider the local vacuum cleaner store.  Although they may want to sell you a new vacuum, they do take trade-ins that are available for sale.  Karcher and Kirby vacuum cleaners, along with many other high-end vacuums can almost all be found with a little research local vacuum store.

It's important to determine what exactly you're looking for and a budget.  If the price is your only consideration than a trip to the local Target or Wal-Mart store is your best bet.  If you want the best quality at the lowest possible price and are satisfied with the used vacuum cleaner, check out the other options mentioned in this article.
