Another Bathroom House Cleaning list

Here's yet another checklist of bathroom house cleaning ideas that can speed your spring cleaning. Using lists such as this will not only make short work of your spring cleaning but also give your more time to complete other tasks.

The bathroom should be regularly cleaned if only to keep germs under control. This would include washing out the sink, tub, and toilet. Polishing the mirrors to keep down the dirt and dust is also a good idea. Vacuuming the walls can limit the amount of link and other debris that tend to collect on textured surfaces.

1. Empty out everything under the bathroom sink. Throw out any of the half used personal hygiene products that you know will never be used. Decide which ones are worth keeping and place them back in an easily found area. Some products like your inventory of favorite shampoo, lotions, and even some medicated products should be placed toward the rear but easily seen. You may want to use an old shoebox to keep them organized. Throw out that wild Berry and mint flavored hair conditioner that made your hair greasy and lifeless.

2. Check out how you store, the paper goods for the bathroom. It's of toilet paper and facial tissue boxes neatly organized are stacked? Can they be quickly found when needed? If not, maybe it's time to give these important products a place of their own. Maybe a nice toilet paper caddy for the top of the toilet?

3. Do you or a loved one read in the bathroom? If so, it's probably time to go through the old reading material in the magazine rack and replace them with new stuff.

4. Discard old towels and washcloths. Most of us tend to keep our towels, thinking we may need them in the future. In reality, most of us only use a couple of the towels a week with the old ones just taking up space in collecting dust.

5. If you're cabinet has drawers, they're probably filled with miscellaneous hair decorations, bands, pins etc. Go through them and toss anything not used in the last 2 years. Anything rusty should also be removed automatically thrown in the trash

6. Vacuum the inside of the vanity cabinet and drawers to remove hair and lose dirt.
7. Wash the liquid soap container, soap dish and wash that disgusting toothbrush holder. Come on, you know that thing is disgusting, especially if you have children

8. Use commercial product like CLR or Lime Away to remove hard water deposits from bathtub or shower enclosures and tracks.

9. Wash or replace all fabric materials including shower curtains and window treatments.

10. Use a bleach solution to remove mold buildup in the tub area

11. Throw all expired prescription medications down the toilet. (not the bottles, just the pills.
