Although not a fair comparison, the Hoover self propelled vacuum cleaner is a different excuse the term, "animal" than the products from the Dyson company. This is a good example of the consumer needing to know what they want in a vacuum cleaner before selecting the style model make or brand.
Both machines are heavy. While the Hoover sideways is self propelled, it's a bear if you need to carry it up and down stairs. The Dyson bagless designed vacuums are also heavy and are more compact and easier to carry around when needed.
