Most reviews I've read on the Fusion vacuums read more like a car ad than a vacuum cleaner. Words like it looks "cool" are considered positive features. Problem is that most people don't buy a vacuum based on it's "coolness" factor... or do they?

One of the marketing pitches for the hoover fusion line is the bagless feature and the looks ARE similar to other bagless vacuums costing hundreds of dollars more. The look may be similar but that's unfortuneately where the similarity ends.

The hoover fusion vacuum reviews have been mixed at best. The owners state that the machine does have good suction but contrary to the claims of Hoover, the fusion cyclonic does clog. Once clogged, it's screwdriver and dismantling to clear the obstruction. This means wasted time.

Several customers who have posted a hoover fusion vacuum review also state that the unit is not stable and can tip easier than other vacuums they've had. This along witht a short cord and hose and the fusion. although "cool" looking is anything but a great vacuum to own. There's definately a cost trade off between the fusion line and the hoover self propelled sideways vacuum cleaner models. The fusion is usually prices less than half the of the self propelled models so you would naturally expect some differences. A shorter cord isn't a big deal for that kind of money however.

Still remember that the price point with this unit is very aggressive. You will probabaly not be able to find a bagless cyclonic dirt suction action vacuum at a better price from any other company. I would suggest that this vacuum cleaner may be perfect for those just starting out that need the bagless feature and don't have heavy duty cleaning and vacuuming needs.
