Electrolux Vacuum Reliability is in its history

Electrolux vacuum cleaner company has a long history of satisfying the consumer with quality products. Brand names like Eureka, Gibson Husqvarna, and even the Electrolux vacuum cleaner name. All represent the top quality in their various.

Vacuum cleaner should come a long way since the days of small manual vacuums. I remember as a kid, we had an Electrolux vacuum cleaner that we had literally for decades. I remember as a little boy putting the canister vacuum together. It was a long low slung canister vacuum machine that had a small hose at one end a short hose and an attachment for carpet cleaning.

Although not a powered vacuum brush, I do remember that it picked up well. And unlike many of the newer machines, it had a fabric dirt collection bag with a rubber seal. This fabric bag vacuum would fill with dirt, debris, pet hair and the like and need emptied on a regular basis. I don't remember ever having to a big problem with that vacuum cleaner not being able to pick up most of the dirt that was in the house however.

The Electrolux vacuum that we had originally was sold by a vacuum cleaner salesman that was going door to door. Although many vacuum cleaners are sold either online or at the local big box stores or local vacuum cleaner companies, the time was the late 50s. And it was normal to have door-to-door salespeople selling all sorts of things. Not only vacuum cleaners, household cleaners, brushes, insurance, music lessons, and many other products.

It was a simplier time and vacuum cleaner sales people would come into homes and demonstrate the vacuuming product directly to the people without the need to visit a store. Heck, they even had financing that wasn't plastic! LOL

Product reliability didn't seem to be such a problem either back then. There were many products that featured QUALITY as a main component, including eureka vacuum cleaners. Many products just worked though they weren't as advanced and didn't have as many features, the fact is that the functionality of the vacuum cleaner worked and was reliable.

Although the Electrolux vacuum cleaner wasn't a total house cleaning system, it was extremely reliable and could be counted on to do what it was desgined to do... that is, vacuum and clean the floors and carpets.

When we moved to California from the East Coast, we took the Electrolux vacuum cleaner with us. To my recollection, we actually had that vacuum cleaner for another 10 years, which would have made it a good 15 years old before it was replaced. So the question of Electrolux vacuum cleaner reliability, if based on my own experience. I would have to say that it's probably the most reliable vacuum cleaner out there on the market even today.
