Symplicity Vacuum Cleaners

Symplicity Vacuum Cleaners - One of the best vacuums if you Breath [smile]

I know what you're thinking....How does a vacuum cleaner breathe?

Well, think about it. A vacuum cleaner uses suction to pick up dirt from the floor, which is then transferred through a hose into a dirt container or bag. A Dust Separator Vacuum Cleaner is one that doesn't use a bag but a recipticle to collect the dirt.

Simple enough but what about the air thats pulled into the vacuum through the hose and into the bag? This exhaust is what you see when you're bad is getting full , the unti is turned on and a puff of dust shows up around your vacuum.

Many vacuum companies claim to be HEPA type vacuums. The reality is that HEPA is often used to suggest the machine handles dirt well.

According to the US government, a HEPA filtration system is defined as :
Type of air filter that removes >99.97% of particles 0.3 um or larger at a specified flow rate of air. (source: www.cdc.gov/ncidod/sars/guidance/core/app2.htm)

It doesn't take an environmental wizard to realize that many vacuum cleaners that claim to be "HEPA" filters are not using this definition.

The Symplicity or Simplicity Vacuum system however seems to offer what I think is the closest to a HEPA filtration cleaning machine. They have models that offer a 5 and 7 layer HEPA filtration system which includes BOTH an electrostatic and charcoal filter dust control systems. WOW!

Available in both upright models and cannisters, Symplicity offers a sealed filtration system that separates the air handling from the dirt handling process. They even include a charcoal filter as part of their air handling system.

This means that along with removing the dirt from the air exhaust your vacuum cleaner breathes, it also nuetralizes any odor that may be present.

Cha-Ching! Big benefit here!

So although dust separator vacuum cleaners use cyclonic action to separate the dirt from the air, it's the air handling that is also just as important. What is done with the air after it's been used to clean your carpet is just as important as all the bells and whistles found in the usual sales brochure.

Locating simplicity 7000 vacuum bags is not difficult. A quick check at many local vacuum cleaner shops should get you a supply to keep your Symplicity vac running great!
